Nicole's Professional Journey

With a nursing career that spans over nine years, including four years focused intensively on diabetes education, Nicole's journey is rich with experiences that shape her empathetic and skilled approach to diabetes care. Her story is a chronicle of professional milestones and a testament to her unwavering dedication to her patients' well-being.

Specialised Experience in Paediatric and Women's Diabetes Care

Nicole's expertise is highlighted by her significant roles at The Royal Children’s Hospital and The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. Her experience in the paediatric ward at The Royal Children’s Hospital is particularly notable, where she honed her ability to connect with and care for children and their families diagnosed with diabetes. Nicole also has gained excellent experience working with women planning for pregnancy with diabetes and provides support during pregnancy. Her educational journey in this field was furthered with a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2018, leading to her current role as a Diabetes Nurse Educator.
